Polyethylene Horizontal Tanks

Poly horizontal tanks are available in many configurations and capacities. Round polyethylene, hdpe and hdlpe, poly horizontal tanks are manufactured with or without legs. The smaller capacities, poly horizontal tanks under 500 gallons, can be used without the steel support hoops. Although these poly tanks are primarily designed for non DOT use, TWIN TANKS does supply a few that are UN/DOT approved, plastic IBCs. Look at our 550 gallon all plastic Megatainer IBCs.

Elliptical horizontal bulk storage tanks are available from 300 to 2625 gallons. These are wider but provide SHORTER heights. Most polyethylene elliptical horizontal tanks are poly leg tanks providing the poly tank support and ease of installation.

TWIN TANKS stocks the worlds' largest variety of horizontal polyethylene bulk storage tanks including the worlds' largest all plastic horizontal IBCs, 550 gallon Megatainer plastic IBCs!

Round poly horizontal storage tanks are available with molded in sump bottoms for better drainage. The smaller capacities are frequently found on equipment such as sprayers, irrigation equipment, and more. Three quarter inch drain fittings are standard on 20-55 gallon tanks. Three quarter inch and 1-1/4" drain fittings are standard on 110-200 gallon tanks. Most larger horizontal, and horizontal leg, tanks are supplied with anti-surge baffles.

Similar horizontal tanks are our below ground water storage and septic tanks. These high density polyethylene tanks are designed to be buried and have all the accessories required to make your installation complete; plumbing kits, manways, manway extensions, sanitary tees, gaskets, and more.

TWIN TANKS delivers tanks constructed of HDPE (Polyethylene), HDXLPE (High Density Crosslinked Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene), FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), and Steel. Any material can be used to construct your vessel provided the materials are compatable with the product being stored. In most cases HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is your BEST choice. Prefer Crosslinked Poly? Read all about it!

Linear polyethylene tanks are rototationally molded in one piece, seamless construction. HDPE tanks can be used indoors or outdoors; UV Inhibitors are added to the resin before the vessel is molded. What are these plastic resins? Read about the poly tanks resins!

HDPE and HDXLPE tanks are cost efficient and are easily installed. Polyethylene tanks are molded in every imaginable configuration; flat bottoms, cone bottoms, open tops, horizontal, cylindrical, drums, rectangular. TWIN TANKS distributes every configuration.

TWIN TANKS' volume sales permit the lowest possible cost to our valued customers. TWIN TANKS' experienced technicians quickly provide innovative solutions for your bulk storage requirements. Call TWIN TANKS when you can't settle for less, TWIN TANKS "is" poly or polyethylene tanks and poly or "polyethylene" containment basins.

Providing a solution for your bulk storage requirement is easy if TWIN TANKS' sales staff know a few things; i.e.: What chemicals are you working with? How much? What are you going to do, mix? Ship? Storage? Where? Indoors or Outdoors? What temperatures are we working with? What are your piping requirements? Need poly containment basins? Why not consider one of our safe poly double wall self containment tank systems?

Linear polyethylene tanks are rototationally molded in one piece, seamless construction. HDPE tanks can be used indoors or outdoors; UV Inhibitors are added to the resin before the vessel is molded. How do rotationally molded PE tanks compare to fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks?

Advantages of tanks produced from rotationally molded polyethylene (PE) over tanks produced with FRP include: greater impact resistance, a homogeneous wall, better weatherability, a broader range of chemical resistance, and lower cost. Advantages over mild steel and stainless steel include: better stress-crack resistance in mobile applications due to stress-free construction, a broader range of chemical resistance, seamless wall construction, more economical site preparation and installation and a lower price in many cases. PE also does not dent. Take a closer look at our poly upright tanks.
